Based on taxi trip data, used as input, a fleet simulation has been developed and implemented using SUMO. The city of the scenario is Munich, Germany. Performance of the fleet in terms of waiting time and fleet saturation have been investigated at the variation of influencing factors, namely fleet size, fleet distribution and demand pattern. A cost model has also been developed to help the analysis.
