Abstract: |
The aim of the work is to evaluate a cylinder head section using integrated FEA Software "Generative Part Structural Analysis" and structure optimization with Optistruct and CATIA V5. The task is divided into two main areas. The first focus is on the Analysis of the current development method using the existing data of a cylinder head. The second focus is on the development of different design approaches using the FEA and structural optimization software. The calculation and evaluation of the stress distribution is to be implemented with different design variants, e.g. variation of the wall thickness (local) and various stiffening designs (ribbing). |
