Abstract:

The development that seeks to rise in Suesca's sector in the periphery of Bogotá, Colombia's capital, is a prototype of residence that aims to implement all technology items and methodologies implemented in the European Union at a level of sustainability in a Colombian context.

The approach of the project is going to be determined by a type of climate, environment and a different field in order to propose a new type of sustainable residence in Colombia, counting with a new aesthetic that connects the contemporary architecture with a local one and a new way of constructing smart spaces.

Through this type of prototype, the project aims to develop in a second stage, a self-sustaining system with other elements of the same type as the previous one, which takes charge of keeping the same principles of respect for nature, 0 Km food, alternative energies and a urban internal system that would allow residents to connect as a community.

All the sustainable project or "Eco-village" is going to take into consideration different constructive materials typical of the local context as Adobe (raw earth) and wood from the local places around the project site, as well as all the typical roofs of the project's site context.
