Abstract
Energy system optimization models produce large amounts of structured output data for analyzing long-term energy transition pathways. These results typically include installed capacities, energy flows, system costs, emissions, curtailment, and material consumption across multiple scenarios and time horizons. Valuable as they are, working with them usually requires custom scripting and familiarity with the model structure, which puts the data out of reach for anyone without a technical background. This thesis describes the design and implementation of an interactive web dashboard for exploring and visualizing Temoa outputs, developed within the TEMOA-Italy project of the MAHTEP research group at Politecnico di Torino. The platform connects to multiple Temoa SQLite databases at once through a Django REST Framework backend, while a React frontend lets users filter and visualize the results interactively.
Scenarios can be compared across databases, results filtered by region, period, technology group, and commodity, and charts and datasets exported for reporting or further analysis
