Abstract
This thesis presents the design and implementation of a scalable and replicable security blueprint aimed at enhancing cloud security operations within Amadeus, specifically in the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The initiative re- sponds to the increasing complexity of managing security across multiple cloud environments resulting from mergers and acquisitions, each with distinct infras- tructures and configurations. The project focuses on integrating Cloud-Native Application Protection Plat- forms (CNAPP) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems into Amadeus’s AWS ecosystem. A comprehensive proof of concept was devel- oped to demonstrate the feasibility of centralized log collection, secure storage, and real-time ingestion into Splunk and Prisma Cloud.
The architecture empha- sizes confidentiality, integrity, and availability of logs, while also addressing cost optimization and operational scalability
