Effective management of transport infrastructure requires prioritisation approaches that account not only for current asset condition but also for exposure to factors that accelerate deterioration. This study developed a multi-criteria framework to prioritise bridge assets based on their exposure to traffic, environmental, and climatic stressors. A quantitative cross-sectional analysis was conducted using 13,070 bridge assets from the National Bridge Inventory. Traffic, air pollution, climate, and noise indicators were integrated into a composite Exposure Priority Index (EPI) using normalisation and weighted multi-criteria decision-making techniques. Assets were subsequently classified into low-, medium-, and high-priority groups. The EPI revealed substantial heterogeneity in exposure across the bridge network, with scores ranging from 0.194 to 0.571 (mean = 0.314, SD = 0.041).
