Abstract
ElectrochemiDear Professor, I have completed the final round of data analysis for my Master's thesis, covering both the liquid half-cell measurements (RRDE, acidic vs. alkaline stability) and the device-level Gas Diffusion Electrode (GDE) testing. I am uploading the corresponding plots and summary tables to the portal for your approval so I can proceed with the remaining steps. The combined results provide a very consistent story about our strategy of decorating the baseline Fe–N–C matrix with low weight percentages of platinum (5% and 10%). Below is a brief overview of the main findings : Acidic Media (Harsh Environment Degradation): Looking at the LSV curves after 10,000 cycles in acid, the 5% Pt hybrid clearly emerges as the optimal configuration.
It shows the highest resistance to degradation, with a half-wave potential drop (ΔE1/2) of only 0.04 V
