Abstract
This thesis analyses the movement of two DsGSDs: the Grangesises and Thuras landslides, located in the Susa Valley. This work is structured as an introduction to the discussed topics, a geological and geographical setting of the two landslides, an explanation of the methodology used and an application to the two case studies. The methodology includes a primary data gathering entailing EGMS time series, ARPA weather stations' data (temperature, precipitation and snow depth), readings from fixed and manual inclinometers, and piezometers. The data analysis begins with an initial EGMS data validation through direct comparison with the manual inclinometers and a subsequent analysis of inclinometers' trends.
Subsequently, EGMS data is analysed in terms of stability ranges and occurrence of permanent scatterers depending on land cover
