The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the development and improvement process carried out on a machine used for the production of carbon cables at the Spanish company Future Fibres S.L. in Valencia. The machine has a composite structure to which a mechanical component must be connected to tension the fibre during the winding process. This project took four months to complete and focused on restoring the machine to working order.
