Abstract
Stress is a pervasive psychological state that can profoundly impact people's lives and have a negative impact on their well-being, from both a mental and physical health aspect. Long exposure to stress can cause severe implications, not only for the single subject but also for society in terms of social and healthcare costs. Research in this field has been growing considerably over the last years, helped by the proliferation of wearable technologies which has provided the opportunity to monitor physiological signals continuously, establishing a key pillar of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) field or in Affective Computing sector.
