Abstract
Development and Testing of a Solar Array Drive Assemblies Control for SmallSats: Application to the HENON Mission. This thesis focuses on the development and analysis of Solar Array Drive Assemblies (SADA) control for CubeSat, with reference to their integration into the satellite architecture, particularly within the Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS) subsystem. The study focused on the design of the interfaces necessary for effective SADA implementation, addressing both hardware and control aspects. The SADA control architecture was integrated into the flatsat and validated. Attention was focused on the design of the SADA Control Algorithm, optimizing power generation through the dynamic positioning of the solar panels, while ensuring stability and coordination with the AOCS subsystem and the entire mission architecture.
The proposed solution was analyzed through simulation and studied in the context of the HENON mission, a CubeSat mission for space weather monitoring in deep space
