Abstract
The increasing complexity of modern space systems has driven a progressive shift towards model-based approaches in System Engineering. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) offers significant benefits over traditional document-centric methods, particularly in terms of project efficiency, data consistency, traceability and lifecycle coherence. Verification and Validation (V&V) activities play a critical role in Systems Engineering ensuring the alignment between system definition, implementation and integration. While V&V is a core discipline, its processes are unfortunately often insufficiently integrated into MBSE environments, and frequently remain external to system model, operating independently from the digital model rather than being intrinsically connected to it. Since methodology is a fundamental pillar of MBSE, the specific method chosen directly influences how these engineering processes are executed and synchronized.
The objective of this thesis is to address this gap by proposing a methodology aimed at integrating V&V activities within a coherent model-based framework
