Abstract
The growing trend of integrating digital elements into consumer products is transforming the adoption process, especially in the area of smart home systems. This thesis explores how the shift from traditional vacuum cleaners to robotic vacuum cleaners changes the determinants of adoption and actual usage. Based on the UTAUT2 model and incorporating product affordance theory, the research compares traditional and robotic vacuum cleaners to explore differences in behavior intention and actual usage. The data was gathered using a structured survey approach that enabled respondents to share usage and views for traditional and robotic vacuum cleaners. The resulting dataset was analyzed using five regression models in IBM SPSS.
The first model reveals the key determinants of Behavioral Intention
