The candidate will develop and validate a PCB that emulate part of a real ECU for pure dry brake-by-wire applications. The candidate will take care of development of hardware and firmware, particularly focusing on the Field Oriented Control for PMSM driving for service brake actuation, DC-motor driving and Wheel Speed Sensor data acquisition and monitoring. The PCB will be based on a new ST specific IC for these applications currently under development, an ST ARM-based micro-controller and a ST Power Management IC.
