Abstract
The problematic of my thesis work is: “impact of social media on safety culture”. This research is situated within a dual context. On the one hand, social networks are increasingly popular, with intensive use across all age groups. They vary in their features and objectives. The evolution of social networks has profoundly influenced how they are defined, both functionally and in terms of their aims. Some platforms are well-known, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and X, while others are less obvious or older. On the other hand, safety culture is a major concern for companies. Indeed, following industrial accidents, standards to protect people and the environment have emerged and grown increasingly stringent.
Beyond compliance, organizations are increasingly focused on building a strong safety culture
