Abstract
The current global industrial sector is desperately searching every time a new material which can replace the expensive and sometimes rare raw material. Furthermore, the problem of GHG by pollution is an actual emergency which especially cement production plant is affected and it must find new ways to decrease emission and find sources which can be more sustainable. The study is aimed to recover a typical waste of ornamental stone plant, which is the sludge produced by cuttings operated by diamond tools, in rock types such as: diorite and marble. Both stones have different mechanical behaviors; however, the research wants to analyze, with typical soil and stone characterization, the content of the waste.
The research has been performed with two different sludges
