Abstract
The renewal of existing industrial parks promotes the high-quality development of cities. The revitalization and improvement of the external space of these parks are also important issues for enhancing the quality of urban spaces at present. However, in many cases, the renovation of existing industrial parks neglects the transformation of external public spaces. The external spaces of these industrial renovation parks often have a uniform appearance and lack vitality. In recent years, intergenerational interactions based on kinship have received widespread attention. With the expansion of the number of parents and the transformation of the concept of intergenerational interaction, more quantity and higher quality requirements have been put forward for intergenerational spaces.
The public spaces of old industrial parks carry the cultural significance of industrial history and educational significance
