Abstract
Building Information Modeling (BIM) has significantly improved construction coordination. However, a major gap remains between automated clash detection in Building Model Checking (BMC) systems and practical visualization in design environments. While BMC tools can quickly detect thousands of spatial clashes, converting this data into actionable steps still relies heavily on manual methods. These manual processes often take up 40–60% of meeting time and can result in 15–25% error rates. This research bridges that gap by developing an automated system that transforms coordinates and visualizes clashes directly in Revit. The system solves the issue of misaligned coordinate systems between BMC tools (which use true north) and Revit models (which use project north).
