Dapp for Product Traceability in the Automotive Sector.
Rel. Valentina Gatteschi, Alfredo Favenza. Politecnico di Torino, Master of science program in Engineering And Management, 2025
Abstract
This thesis aims to develop a Decentralized Application (DApp) leveraging blockchain technology to enable the certification and traceability of automotive components, specifically braking systems for cars and high-performance motorcycles. The proposed system will allow end users to verify the authenticity and history of purchased products through a mobile application integrated with a digital wallet. By scanning a QR code, users will receive a traceability certificate represented as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT), ensuring transparent and tamper-proof product tracking.
