Abstract
In the era of digital transformation, although it is tangible that Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are essential for overall business management, their integration with specialized systems tailored to specific operational domains is crucial for maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. This thesis explores the business transformation of a manufacturing company in the hydraulic industry through the implementation of an ERP system and its integration with an automated warehouse (WMS), aiming to enhance efficiency and streamlining logistics operations. The study focuses on the impact of ERP implementation on logistics management, particularly in warehouse operations, inventory control, and process automation. By examining the case of MP Filtri S.p.A., this thesis highlights how ERP adoption has influenced business workflows, enhancing operational coordination and ensuring greater accuracy in order fulfillment.
The methodology is based on an in-depth analysis of company processes, including a review of internal procedures, and interviews with key users involved in daily activities
