Abstract
This thesis project focuses on the design and operational management of a hybrid system for a multi-dwelling building in an urban context. The first phase of the work involves the sizing of the PV and BESS system using commercial software to ensure a professional and precise approach. The main objective is to optimise solar energy production and surplus energy storage to ensure a continuous and sustainable energy supply. Subsequently, an Energy Management System (EMS) will be developed to plan day-to-day operations. The EMS will use predictive algorithms to estimate the next day's energy demand and optimise the use of available resources, thus improving the operational efficiency of the hybrid system.
The project will be implemented within the framework of RECs, which promote shared renewable energy production and consumption models
