| Abstract: |
This thesis focuses on the optimization of an eco-friendly biomaterial coupling green oxidized pectin and a modified gelatin to design injectable hydrogels for drug delivery applications. The hydrogel composition was optimized to achieve injectable, self-healing, biocompatible systems able to release nanoparticles in a controlled manner. This study was carried out within the RECOVERY project – funded by European Union – Next Generation EU within the PRIN 2022 PNRR program (D.D.1409 del 14/09/2022 Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca). This thesis reflects only the authors’ views and opinions and the Ministry cannot be considered responsible for them. |
