The aim of this master’s thesis is to offer the reader a comprehensive insight into a rising market trend: The Tokenization of Asset. The thesis will begin with a brief historical introduction, followed by an explanation of the key technological processes underpinning this emerging field. A thorough market analysis will then be presented, with a particular focus on the sectors most significantly impacted and experiencing the fastest growth, highlighted through examples of the most successful projects in each area. Lastly, a theoretical model for tokenization within the financial sector, an area yet to be fully explored, will be proposed, laying the groundwork for future research in this domain.
