Questura di Torino - A Community Center for Migrant Insertion

A great part of the migrant population that arrives to Turin has to visit once or twice its Questura each year. However, even if it has an important role to the city for this specific group of people, the structure of the building does not reflect their necessities. This study presents a proposal for the renovation of the Questura. It considers, firstly, the issues that the migrant populations usually face worldwide. Then it narrows the study by showing surveys and interviews made to understand the condition of the migrants that arrive in the city and by assessing the actual state of the building. After researching the normativity and international similar projects to follow, it makes a proposal adequate to the instance.
