Abstract
Abstract The aerodynamics of sports cars is a critical factor influencing their performance, particularly in terms of speed, stability, and efficiency. This thesis investigates the development of an advanced active spoiler system with enhanced degrees of freedom for motion in Pitch or horizontal direction, aimed at achieving optimal aerodynamic control. Traditional active spoiler systems primarily employ (Lift)vertical motion and (Pitch angle) tilt for adjustments to angle of attack to modulate aerodynamic forces. This research introduces an innovative mechanism that enables horizontal motion (Pitch motion, moving in the direction of pitch) of the wings, thus adding an extra degree of freedom to the system.
The proposed design encompasses the development of a sophisticated mechanism and actuator capable of precise horizontal movements
