Development of a corporate MRP system to optimize the current Spare Parts Planning system. The Luigi Lavazza S.p.A. case study

The thesis project aims to define a more reliable method for forecasting demand for Lavazza's spare parts. The research combines existing forecasting methods with Lavazza's specific needs to improve the reliability of predicting customer requests and managing inventory. This is achieved by creating an alternative corporate MRP system aimed at streamlining and optimizing the current Spare Parts Planning system at Lavazza.
