Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the creation of a benchmark for the calculation of the carbon dioxide (CO2 ), on the basis of a process carried out mainly at the SKF site located in Airasca. The work will address a series of analysis carried out on the bearing to assess the condition of the individual bearing’s components after a full life cycle. The results reached will aim at evaluating, together with the client, which policies would be the best to be adopted so as to increase the useful life of the bearing's components and with the ultimate aim of reducing the overall emissions.
