Abstract:

“LC-Neurorehab”, developed to be applied to the field of Long Covid neurorehabilitation, is a desktop application aimed at both working memory training and improving attentional control in individuals with difficulties in focusing their attention, particularly those affected by Long Covid, with the goal of strengthening overall cognitive abilities. The application features separate login pages for administrators and patients; the latter can access after registration. Administrators monitor patients' progress through various tasks: Adaptive Dual N-Back, Mental Rotation Test. After implementing registration phases for administrators and new subjects suffering from Long Covid and their respective work areas, my work focused on designing and implementing the Adaptive Dual N-Back Test: during this test, participants are asked to monitor two simultaneous streams of stimuli, one visual and one auditory, and indicate when the current item matches the one presented N steps back in the sequence.
