Abstract
In recent years, the rapid integration of technology into daily life has raised concerns about its impact on our wellbeing. As a result, the concept of digital wellbeing has emerged, aiming to achieve a balance between digital device use and overuse. Several Digital Self-Control Tools (DSCTs) have been developed to tackle these challenges but they often fail to produce long-term results, as they rely solely on self-monitoring and lack effective habit-forming strategies. The primary objective of this thesis is to design a platform, later named HabitHero, which facilitates digital wellbeing education among teenagers. The final application has been implemented based on feedback gathered from preliminary interviews with high school teachers and students.
