Abstract
In recent years, and especially after the European Union decided to ban the sale of new gasoline and diesel cars from 2035, the interest in the future of e-mobility has grown steeply. The greater market share of electric vehicles will lead to problems concerning energy distribution on the public grid, which will be increasingly subjected to outages due to the peak request during charging periods of electric vehicles. In fact, during the evening hours, when the greatest part of the electric vehicles will be connected to the grid and charging, the overall power request will be higher than that for which the cities have been designed.
To solve this problem, research centers and in general the automotive industry started thinking about the development of alternative charging methods
