The rise of Big Tech and their enormous control over their respective markets has raised several concerns regarding the monopolistic power these entities exert within the global economy. This thesis aims to provide a comprehensive assessment, revealing that such monopoly power negatively impacts market competition, innovation, and challenges regulatory frameworks. Based on these findings, the study discusses the need for a regulatory approach to mitigate these effects and promote a more competitive and innovative economic landscape.
