To be competitive, businesses must continuously adapt their operational procedures and workplace environments. Digital transformation has become crucial for this specific reason. Nevertheless, numerous businesses still struggle to integrate technology and processes with customers and employees. Indeed, the luxury industry lays on low-digitalized manufacturing processes to guarantee high-quality products. As a result, it is necessary to lead this transformation one step at a time, and implementing ERP solutions is an important step toward the industry 4.0 model. This thesis tries to analyze the status of the literature concerning the challenges of the luxury industry and how digital transformations can be a key solution.
