Abstract
This thesis focuses on the application of Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM) in preserving and managing the Torino Esposizioni building. The study explores the utilization of HBIM in different levels of detail (LOD) and across different points in time to enhance the understanding, documentation, and conservation of this significant architectural heritage. The thesis begins with an introduction to the concept of HBIM and its relevance in the field of heritage conservation. It highlights the benefits of using HBIM for capturing and managing the complex and rich information associated with historic buildings. The methodology section outlines the data collection techniques, including laser scanning and photogrammetry, employed to capture accurate representations of the building.
The research presents four distinct models of the Torino Esposizioni building, each representing a specific period in its history
