The paper arose as a result of an internship at the E80 Group S.p.A., a leading Italian company specialized in the development of integrated and automated intralogistics solutions for manufacturers of high-volume consumer products and distribution centres, mainly in the food, beverage, and tissue sectors. Recently, the company has embarked on a wide-ranging Digital Transformation process that plans to respond to the new business needs arising because of the exponential growth of the group. The central topic of this thesis is to measure the impact of the internal Smart Requirements project, of the adoption of digital technologies capable of renewing work processes, encouraging synergy between the E80 Group departments involved and promoting scalability, especially for the Business Analysts department.
