Among the large number of areas involved in the technological innovation process there is one in particular which is experiencing a real revolution, the fourth in its history: we are talking about the "industrial" sector, which for this reason is nowadays referred to as "Industry 4.0". Today the IoT is widespread with a consequent increase in connectivity between people and companies. With the advent of Industry 4.0, therefore, there is an increasingly pressing need to have a software system capable of collecting, managing, and transforming the data collected, by sensors that are increasingly efficient, scalable and secure. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and improve the information system of WiRail SRL underlining the problems based on scenarios of increasing the number of server requests.
