Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is now a common term in everyday life, but it is even more so in the increasingly connected and optimized world of industry. The primary goal of its use is to connect tools, machinery, and vehicles in order to monitor their operation and make better data-driven decisions. In this context, this thesis was developed in collaboration with the company Wirail Srl, which aims to develop algorithms for managing IoT systems, particularly with regard to data acquisition, processing, and communication. The first chapter presents an overview of the current state of the Internet Of Things, focusing in particular on its use for the purpose of monitoring moving vehicles.
The second chapter discusses the work done regarding the monitoring of agricultural vehicles, the devices used, and the firmware developed
