After completing a 6 month internship at Société Générale, one of the largest banking institutions in Europe. I decided to write a report explaining my internship and referring to my experience. This report contains an overview of the European Central Bank and its commitments to the European Union banking market. Through this we will understand the French banking system and the place of Société Générale in it. After tracing the major events of SG since its creation we will see what services it is able to offer and what it can create for its clients. An explanation of my experience will follow and so I could follow with an analysis of my integration and the means that the organisation puts in place to carry out the accounting of investment funds.
