Abstract:

In order to reproduce tissue alignment for in vitro modelling, we designed micro-fiber reinforced bioinks with aligned pattern with the potential of giving topographic stimuli to the cells. The bioinks were produced using PCL-microfibers (MFs) fragments and an alginate matrix, and then bioprinting was used to align the MFs via the shear-stress.
