Abstract:

The goal is to create a digital twin of a 5G core network. In particular, the system should be able to recreate different network scenarios (traffic load, number of users, fixed requirements and policies) and extract network performance metrics, such as the delay of a flow that transits the 5G core. This metrics will be used to construct datasets for modelling, and to calculate more complex metrics such as the amount of time to connect a user to the core network.
