Abstract:

This master's thesis work was carried out abroad at the EURO FLIGHT TEST company, based in Winningen, Germany. The main purpose is to create a mathematical model in MATLAB / Simulink that allows to simulate the behavior of the BS PRIME aircraft. The company, which has recently chartered a BS PRIME aircraft, has provided its willingness to support the project, both during the development phase and during the validation phase. It was in this second phase that the possibility of performing ??ight tests with a specialized pilot was of fundamental impor??tance. This thesis focuses on model development, from geometry to aerodynamic derivatives. It was necessary to separate the modeling discussion from the validation one for bureaucratic rea??sons. It is noted that in order to have a global understanding it is necessary to consider the two parts as a single work. The work and all the necessary activities, net of the contribution provided by EURO FLIGHT TEST, were carried out by both candidates: Andrea Corino and Diego Orio.
