The definition of numerous cloud computing models has made mainstream the access to virtualized resources of all kinds. The intensive use of Cloud resources allows many companies to maximize their efforts towards their core business, leaving to cloud providers the costs of building and maintaining physical infrastructures on which many services are based. In this master's thesis work, we analyze in detail how the company has approached its IT infrastructure migration to the Cloud. Starting from the design principles on which the company built its on-premises IT infrastructure, we deepen how these principles are "tailored" and enriched with proprietary patterns of the Azure cloud provider to be able to migrate company assets and services to the Cloud.
