Abstract
The technological progress we have experienced and are still experiencing has led to the development of various approaches and methodologies in all scientific fields. These include the tendency to convert an object of our daily life into a smart element through its connection to the network. The branch of science that deals with this approach is the one commonly known as Internet of Things, currently one of the fastest-growing sectors. This study focuses on the vehicle, an object used in most people's everyday lives. The purpose of this dissertation work is to demonstrate the ability to carry out full-time monitoring of the vehicle's state using the C++ language and relying mainly on two entities: a microcontroller and the Microsoft Azure cloud, supported by the Azure IoT SDK C.
The communication implemented will only be one-sided, from the car to the cloud
