Abstract:

Distance teaching in Italian universities. With the advent of the covid-19 pandemic that has hit hard and radically changed the whole world, didactics had to quickly adapt to this new situation, switching from the more classical traditional didactics to distance teaching. Specifically, the focus of the paper is on the following three macro-aspects: i.??The major differences from the pre-pandemic situation; ii.??The most effective teaching methods for students; iii.??The types of online exams that allow for results that are not distorted by the possible copying methods that can be implemented by students during online sessions. The main chapters of the thesis paper will be: (1) introduction to the context (2) The administered survey about distance learning during the pandemic (3) Analysis of collected answers (4) Description of the statistical tests used to analyze the answers (5) Statistical comparative analysis. Hypothesis, tests and results (6) Conclusions and ideas for future investigations
