Abstract
The idea for the drafting of this graduation thesis starts from the realization of the European funded project REMOTE, within the broader Horizon 2020 program. The project involves the installation of three demonstration sites in three different European areas and we took care of the Norwegian one, which was built in Rye. The purpose of this demonstration site was to evaluate the feasibility of operating as a microgrid in islanding mode, i.e. disconnected from the public grid, using renewable energy sources coupled with innovative hybrid storage systems including hydrogen and batteries. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the data collected for each single component of the plant, re-elaborate them in a graphic and intuitive format and extract performance indicators (KPIs) to draw effective conclusions on the functioning of the demo.
After an introductory section on components and management of the system, the in-depth analyzes are of three types: I.??Power analysis: information regarding powers, states of charge, efficiencies and significant quantities is extrapolated
