This work presents an economic assessment of the most recent Feed-In Tariff in Italy, called DM 2019. As a first stage, the historical results from the previous DMs were presented, to understand the policies influence in the increase of photovoltaic (PV) projects. The DM 2019 contains the relevant technical information and the grant process to support determined PV plants, based on these guidelines, two theoretical plants with strategical sizes are proposed. The economic assessment is made through the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) methodology and the remuneration approach presented in the policy, in which different types of tariffs are involved. Finally, the results and conclusions expose the advantages and drawbacks of the DM 2019, taking into account the technical and economical characteristics of the plants..
