The relationship between Shanghai and the Western world in urban planning and architecture, 1845 - 1937. This paper will discuss the changes in Shanghai's urban planning and architecture under the influence of western cultural trends from 1845 to 1937. As the first modern city in China, this paper tries to discuss the templates and changes from the city road, city park, commercial building, residential building-shikumen and other aspects.
