Abstract
Any electronic equipment, to be properly commercialized, needs to meet the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements imposed by current safety regulations and, for this reason, the suppression of electromagnetic interference (EMI) plays a primary role. The goal of the present work is the analysis and design of filtering circuits for the EMI produced by the operation of switching circuits for DC-AC conversion (inverters) installed in the context of innovative agricultural machinery. The measurement setup, has been reproduced by a Simulink model in compliance with the current CISPR regulation; the aim is to predict the levels of any possible conducted emission generated by the equipment.
Also, several model parameters have been tuned in order to see the impact on EMI, optimizing the design of the filters
