Abstract
The thesis is essentially divided into two parts. The first part is a general introduction of the Italian city Rimini in the history and at present by presenting a series of research results: articles about the city overview, historical maps, the analysis of the urban fabric of Rimini, and photos. The second part consists of four chapters after a general introduction on the recently defined geological era, Anthropocene, which draws forth a series of topics, such as regeneration of isolated center, urban experience (or in the new normal), inquiring the main question on how we will live together especially in post-pandemic period and then specifically introduces the city Rimini and the residential area Mazzini which is in the historic center of Rimini, Italy.
The first chapter “Preface: In-line Urban Fabric Regeneration”, it is a series of literature review, theoretically explores a series of important studies of ​​scholars, especially on urban code, morphology, urban fabric, urban environment
