Abstract
Since several years, the search for sustainable development is the centre of a lot of political strategies and international agreements.(CR) For this reason, the European Union launched a strategy for sustainable e development in Europe for a better world ("Strategy for sustainable development", renewed in the Brussels Council 2006) whose aim is to "identify and devise measures to continuously improve the quality of life for current and future generations by creating sustainable communities able to manage and use resources efficiently, to harness the potential ecological and social innovation that offers the economy, ensuring prosperity, environmental protection and social cohesion.(CR) This objective is specified in seven priority areas within the EU:(CR) - climate change and clean energy;(CR) - sustainable transport;(CR) - sustainable consumption and production;(CR) - public health challenges;(CR) - management of natural resources;(CR) - social inclusion, demography;(CR) - migration and poverty reduction world.(CR) In this context, each member state it is requested that each member state to assume its own sustainable development commitments inside the range of their national sustainable development strategies, which that would be subject to review by the Commission and the other States..
