The thesis will be involved on composite materials Non-Destructive Tests (NDT) data analysis with the aim to demonstrate that a new ultrasonic instrument is sufficiently reliable in the damage assessment of advanced composite structures allowing to draw the limits of a defect in term of position, dimension and depth.
